Pea leaf weevil (Sitona lineatus) is a + four mm large weevil. The brown/black beetles live on and from peas (May to July) and broad beans (early April). In general, they are of little harm. Eating traces on the leaf edges of beetles can be recognized by the half moons that have been eaten from the leaf edges. The beetles belong in fields and meadows, from where they sometimes visit vegetable gardens.
